Sugar
The Retriever
Sugar arrived at our Kelowna house in 2013 and brought us joy until her passing in the summer of 2025. She held her Canadian Kennel Club Championship and thought that she was a retriever. Unfortunately, at age 10, Sugar developed sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome (SARDS). She showed remarkable resilience using smell, hearing and touch until her last days.
