About Us
Nadine and Kent are recently retired and live on Vancouver Island with three Havanese dogs (the kids). The dogs live in the house and are members of the family.
We currently share our house with Ruby, Mika and Magic. All of our dogs are are exclusively owner-handled by Nadine (or, in a pinch, Kent). Ruby is a CKC Grand Champion. Mika is partway to her championship. Magic will start her official show career in October 2026.
We got our first Havanese, Panda, in 2001. The Havanese is a breed that can do almost anything. We have been involved in showing (conformation), agility, obedience, rally and scent work. Nadine is a member of the Havanese Fanciers of Canada, the Canadian Kennel Club and the Nanaimo Kennel Club.
