Panda (Ch
Pocotesoro El Hipo Pequeño) is our first Havanese. We started showing when Panda was a year
old. We decided to give conformation a
try and he received his Canadian championship in July 2004. He was born in October 2002. He was bred by Sylvia Redl (Pocotesoro Havanese). He developed hepatitis at age 3 and was very
sick for about a year. He is much better
now.
Note: Sadly, Sylvia passed away in December
2007. She was both a friend and mentor
to me. Her dedication to the Havanese
breed has had an impact on many people.
She always had time to give advice, support and just talk about friends,
family, life and dogs. She will be
missed. Her legacy will live on through
the many lives that she touched.
